After School Clubs

The Dean Windass Soccer Academy Limited has been running very successful non-term time soccer schools for three years at the Hull Collegiate School and on several occasions, there have been in excess of 60 children (both boys and girls) booked in for the day.

After several enquiries from schools, the directors of the DWSA feel that it is the right time to consider ‘after school clubs’ and offer football training and coaching sessions where children (both boys and girls) can benefit from extra tuition, training and guidance.

DWSA is looking forward to setting up football ‘after school clubs’ at Infant, Junior and Primary schools within the areas of Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. Specific programmes will be designed for children from reception class to year 6, all within the safe and secure environment of their own school.

The programmes will incorporate age various football skills addressing both individual and team ethics and will be delivered by professional coaches. DWSA feels that coaching and training as an extra curriculum would be important to their pupils and enhance their football skills. All classes will last for one hour after day school finishes. All coaches that take part are registered, are child protection accredited and have satisfied DBS checks. Several of the coaches are ex Hull City players and know a great deal about professional football and most of them have been involved in the local area with non-league football clubs such as North Ferriby United, Scarborough Athletic and Bridlington Town.

It is hoped that several clubs will be set up in the coming months so it is important that you bookmark this page to see if the school that your child attends is involved in this new venture. A full list of schools will be displayed on this page in due course.

Don't forget we run soccer schools throughout the year in the school holidays and half terms!
